Former reality TV contestant Sean Duffy. Photo by Gage Skidmore Sean Duffy, whose transportation expertise comes from being a contestant on the reality TV show Road Rules, is going back to his roots and filming a reality TV show while on the job. But, as is fitting for the corrupt cabal he’s a member of, he’s made sure to let companies he’s supposed to regulate pay for his family’s vacation. And he’s doing this right as he works his hardest to ensure that your roadtrips are less attainable, with higher energy prices across the country as the direct and intended…
China’s Dongfeng claims its new Voyah S electric SUV drove upside down in a tunnel in Wuhan. The stunt recreates one of the most controversial ads of the 2010s. Sixteen years ago, Mercedes-Benz claimed its SLS AMG supercar looped inside a tunnel—with Michael Schumacher at the wheel. Selling cars in China’s extremely competitive market is very hard. New models debut on a weekly basis, so companies need to get creative when promoting their new offerings. And that’s exactly what state-owned Dongfeng did recently to boost sales of its new Voyah Passion S electric SUV, which looks suspiciously like the Ferrari…

China’s car market is wildly varying, ranging from cheap small hatchbacks, to EVs that have enough power to rival hypercars. These are the ones I personally would buy; these cars are all very well executed vehicles in their classes. Except the Zeekr Mix, all cars on this list are sold outside of China, or have plans to be sold outside of China. The chance of Chinese cars reaching the United States in the near future is pretty slim thanks to tariffs and tech bans. But are we really missing out on so much? After testing more than 25 Chinese cars…
